Hammant and Morgan Point Motor Wiring. ( Model S.M.3 Solenoid Motor)

At first sight these point motors might look a bit complicated.
That's because they offer a large number of wiring options and additional features.

If you are using 'flash switches' (or passing contact switches) which supply a momentary burst of voltage, the only connections you really need are 1,2,5 and 6.

5 and 6 can be simply linked together to provide a common return to the switch,leaving 1 and 2 to move the lever from one position to the other.
