Centre zero.
This ammeter can be wired in either the positive or negative supply wire to your track.
It will indicate the current (amps) used.
If the value is negative (because you are reversing a locomotive), the needle will simply swing in the opposite direction.
** Do not wire your ammeter across the power terminals or the track.
To measure the current, the load being measured has to pass through the meter so simply put it in one of the supply wires
Overall size of the face panel is 64 X 56mm and the depth is 52mm.
